Ernest Zacharevic is a Lithuanian artist whose work explores the relationship between fine art and urban landscapes. The majority of his art exists outdoors and is multidisciplinary, using mediums such as oil, stencil, sculpture, and spray paint.
This mural was created for the Wynwood Walls in 2015. It depicts an image taken by famed street art photographer Martha Cooper taken in 1980, showing children playing in the street in NYC'S LES. Ernest places wooden pieces as if the children are recreating Picasso's 1958 sculpture, "Bull." The original Picasso sculpture can be found at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC.
