HOW and NOSM are twin brothers born in Germany. These brothers come from a graffiti background. Spray paint is their primary medium.
This mural on either side of the portraits is an abstract painting by the duo using mostly freehand aerosol paint and a couple of stencils. They work as a team each brother building upon the others work. Their calling card has always been using red black and white.
The mural might be perceived as a collaboration between the brothers and Vhils but they were actually painted a year a part from each other.

VHILS (Alexandre Farto) uses a unique technique of marking the wall with spray paint, the chiseling out the image. Literally excavating the portrait out of the wall. These are the two portraits in the middle.
