NIELS "SHOE" MEULMAN is an iconic graffiti writer from Amsterdam. He his accredited with the "Calligraffiti" movement. His work is a hybrid of calligraphy through graffiti techniques and mediums. His gestural paintings often reveal his calligraffiti when viewing them from a different angle.
This mural reads "SHOE, Negative Space" which was the name of the Museum of Graffiti's inaugural art show in which Shoe was exhibited. It was completed in December 2019, with the texture around the letters done with a feather duster to apply the paint.
