RUBEN is a Dominican street artist who specializes in murals, graffiti, and installations that utilize reclaimed objects and artifacts. His style of art is considered "postgraffism," however he prefers to call it "urban-pop" as he grew up in central area both in the Dominican republic and New York City.
This mural is titled, "Red, White, Black, and Blue" and was painted with aerosol paint in June 2020. The artist painted this mural during the Black Lives Matter protests that followed the murder of George Floyd, an unarmed black man suffocated by police.
